Algonquin Dinner Monday, October 10th - The Food Gang @ 7:30 p.m.‏

Monday is 10/01.

On this palindrome* our group of gastronomist will venture just north of South Beach to Surfside's recent addition, The Food Gang. The Food Gang opened in early 2007 and is home to Executive Chef Howard Kleinberg (aka Howie) of Top Chef Miami.

We will enjoy a special night as the restaurant is normally NOT open on Monday—but for us they're opening their doors. Let's be grateful and show up in droves.

RSVP as soon as possible and no later than Noon on Monday, 10/01.

There are two price options : a) one glass of wine included with the meal ($35 includes tax & tip); or b) The meal with no glass of wine ($30 includes tax and tip).

Please let me know when you RSVP which you will be opting for. If I do not hear from you, I will assume that you are taking the wine and paying $35.

Additional social lubricants (aka cocktails) can be purchased separately at the bar. Please bring CASH or if you wish to use your credit card, let me know on the RSVP and I will send you an email with a link to PayPal to be paid before Noon on Monday.

To discuss: how many palindromes are in your life? My very own DOB is one, 3/13. This makes me think we should be dining at the Foof Ganag instead, but no such place exists.
