Announcing the 2007 Reef Relief Holiday Online Auction! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and will take place from November 10th through December 15th, so mark the date and plan to do your holiday shopping to benefit Reef Relief.
Southernmost Hotel Collection is sponsoring an Auction Beach Party on Sunday, November 18th, 2007 from 2 - 6 pm at the new Southernmost Beach Cafe located on the beach at the oceanside of Duval Street in Key West. Live music by Howard Livingston and the Mile Marker 24 Band, and a beach party barbeque, so bring the family! There will be computers on site so you can bid on auction items during the party. Mark your calender now to attend!
Our Goal this year for the 2007 Reef Relief Holiday Online Auction is to raise $75,000 to support Reef Relief, a global nonprofit membership organization dedicated to protecting coral reefs.
Reef Relief's mission is to:
Increase public awareness of the importance and value of living coral reef ecosystems,
Increase scientific understanding and knowledge of living coral reef ecosystems,
Strengthen grassroots community-based efforts to protect coral reef ecosystems,
Design, develop, and help implement marine protected areas associated with coral reef ecosystem,
Encourage and support eco-tourism as part of sustainable community development that protects and preserves coral reef ecosystems,
Strengthen our organizational capacity to carry out our mission
We need your support! This is an exciting and fun way to help us, and at the same time have a chance to win cool items. Please tell your friends, family, and entire community that the bidding is about to begin.
