My client, a global hospitality services company with headquarters in Miami is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer. Position will be based our of their offices in South Miami. Senior Network Engineer Job description:

Recommends, builds, monitors, and controls corporate networking systems. Involved in architecture, following industry standard best-practices, implementing corporate security standards, ensuring audit requirements are met, performing mission critical component installations, device administration, and meeting business continuity requirements in an enterprise, multi-platform, local and wide area network environment. Continuously monitors components and peripheral equipment to ensure network performance and availability.

Senior Network Engineer position minimum requirements:
Competent to research new technologies and architect enterprise level solutions to business needs, install, configure and monitor network device hardware and data communication systems throughout the local and wide area networking fabric. Advanced understanding of enterprise level networking concepts, function, protocols and interactions for the local and wide area environment. Problem isolate the most complex issues and provide solutions including forward looking design and new architecture solutions for legacy systems if required. . Stays abreast of industry standards and makes sound recommendations to set corporate standards and direction including security best-practice. Provides clear documentation of all aspects of the environment. Performs a lead roll in the preparation and execution of corporate business continuity requirements. Requires very little instruction and guidance. Generally works under deadlines.

Enterprise level Cisco router and switch hardware experience a must.
Enterprise eCommerce content switch and load balancing hardware experience a must.
F5 Networks – BigIP experience a plus.
Advanced experience with enterprise firewalls a must.
Checkpoint and NetScreen firewall experience a plus.
Extensive experience with VPN and other wide-area technologies a must.
Extensive understanding of security concepts for eCommerce infrastructure a must.
Advanced knowledge of DNS in a complex environment a must.
Advanced network documentation skills is a must.
Intermediate experience with CiscoWorks is a plus.
Basic Unix skills are a plus.
