Manager/Director, Communications - Latin America

Immediate opening for a Spanish-speaking Manager/Director, Communications - Latin America – based in Miami

The position has specific responsibility for the positioning of, and placements for, our Latin America channels in consumer and trade media, along with event organizing, internal communications and wider PR initiatives which raise the profile of the channels and the overall organization.

Snapshot of skills required:
• 4-8 years of Communications, Press and/or PR experience – ideally in television, media or entertainment.
• Fluent in Spanish – ideally some personal or professional time spent in a Spanish speaking country. Portuguese a plus.
• Existing media contacts in within Latin America – particularly in Mexico.
• Experience in dealing with sensitive and controversial issues.
• Extensive talent relations
• Self-starter with the ability to fully function remotely as part of the New York-based Communications team.
