The boys from ZZ Top said it best, "Every girl crazy bout a sharp dressed man." Whether it's a clean shirt, new shoes, silk suit or black tie, this Weekly Yelp is here to deliver the goods on men's style, the Miami Way.

But it all starts with good grooming. Once upon a time, barbershops were for a shave, a haircut and a great place to congregate with the fellas. Thanks to Carrs, guys can still enjoy a traditional barbershop experience with a modern twist. Eddy A revels in their complimentary drinks, plush chairs and close shaves. And of course, his lady is also a fan of their smooth straight-razor results. Meanwhile, Eddy D finds Churchill's Barber Shop in Downtown Miami to be a cut above the rest. He advises to call ahead, but if you don't, those leather couches make a mighty fine spot to pass out – and they'll wake you up with a shot of espresso or un cafesito, chico!

Of course no Miami man's closet would be complete without the guayabera. This tropical chic staple can be bought just about anywhere in Miami, but Claudine C suggests following in Presidential footsteps and checking out La Casa de La Guayaberas. If it's good enough for Commander in Chiefs and Latin pop royalty, then it's fine by us. For those occasions when only the perfect dress shirt can do, head to Harmont and Blaine. Carla L is a fan of their fine Italian quality, service, attention to detail, and of course a good sale, and her hubby's a happier man for it.

For the truly fashion-forward, BASE on Lincoln Road has it all covered. This über chic lifestyle boutique carries everything from clothes and wall art to books and the latest in music, but you'll find Marcos R perusing their cologne section. Yes, cologne, makes scents to us! Now that you're good to go from head to – oh, can't forgot those toes! Get your kicks at Shoe Gallery and don't hesitate to leave your tag on their graffiti covered floors while you're there. Sabrina C is a fan of their collector's limited edition sneakers, ranging anywhere from $50 - $500, but wishes they had more for the ladies. We hear you Sabrina, but let's not forget who these guys are dressing up for...

Picks of the Week
Reviews we liked this week.
Shawn P. on SportClips
"As a busy guy with varied interest, I find there is one thing that is really hard to find. A good barber that you can get a good quality haircut without totally taking a day off from work or losing your whole Saturday that does not after tipping cost more than a meal for 2 at Mortons Steakhouse.
No !…"
Deven C. on Orion Day Spa & Salon
"Yay! I finally found a decent hairdresser!!! I haven't had any luck with any of the fancy places in SoBe or the economic barber shops in Ft. Lauderdale until now! Did I mention: Yay?!

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I usually try to stay away from uptight Las Olas - a friend of mine…"
Torrey R. on Sanctuary 7 The Studio
"Spinning class? Sounds like pottery, art or something. Sure I'll give it a try.

HA! That put my ego in check. I love riding my bicycle but phrase "turn it 4 MORE times to the right" makes going over an intercoastal bridge seem like coasting down a hill. I have to admit I had fun though with good…"

Lunch in Ft. Lauderdale
"When I eat out for lunch it usually is near one of the airports in Ft. Lauderdale. Of course I have to keep it below 30 minutes or the world might stop spinning."
