Critical Mass Miami
Phew! With Thanksgiving and Basel behind us, we barely have time to take a breath before the holiday season is in full swing. Between penciling in your parties and marking off who's been naughty 'n' nice, be sure to press pause and clear a little room in your schedule for some sweet escape. Chill out and put your chi in check now… You'll thank us later!

When temperatures drop and your social calendar heats up, taking a time out can keep you at the top of your game. Ginger H nixes her kinks at mySpa at the Intercontinental Hotel. In addition to the best massage she's ever had, other perks include healthy munchies and free valet parking. Melt the day away at Massage by Design. Open until 10pm every day of the week, even the busiest of bees like Cynthia M can fit in some "me time." Need some realignment? Maria T gets her mind and body right at Shin Wellness, where the ambiance is so zen, you'll just want to "curl up into fetal position and pass out in the waiting area."

Let's get physical, and stretch it out with Selma M at Prana Yoga. With over 70 classes a week, you'll no doubt be able to squeeze some downward dog into your life – and the reasonable prices assure improved balance without worrying about balancing your checkbook. Cheaper still, there's free yoga class at the beach this evening. Now that, we can all afford! For splurge-worthy relaxation, the luxurious Standard Hotel seems to run the re-charge gamut, with indoor baths and outdoor pools that Ali Z describes as "a grown-up aquatic playground." Liz T dubs this her official "I've-had-a-bad-week-and-I-deserve-to-treat myself-to-a-massage-mimosas-and-get-pampered-by-the-pool" spot. It's good to have one of those! What's more, a mere $25 gets you a yoga class and access to their world-class spa, steam room, Turkish baths, hot tubs and arctic-cold plunge pool. Brrr!

Is a dose of adrenaline what soothes you? Gustavo L checks out of the office early and jets over to Sailboards Miami for a little windsurfing: "This is way cheaper than any therapy in the world." Denise P gets away from it all without stepping foot out of Miami at Oleta River State Park, “where you can enjoy a great day of relaxation” at this stress-free oasis, complete with bike trails, canoeing and camping. Of course, if a few hours out of town is the only answer, check out the Stiltsville Tour, an instant passport to a simpler time. Ahh, the good old days.

Picks of the Week
Reviews we liked this week.
Shawn P. on Bikram Yoga Miami
"I have been doing Bikram on and off for 4 years. I love this place because like most Bikram studios, the instructors are very attentive and friendly.

It is a lot larger on the inside that it appears from the street. The patron are generally very serious about their yoga but not so much that they are…"
Adam O. on Matheson Hammock Park
"I really like Matheson Hammock. It was one of the first Miami mangroves I had seen, and I laughed at the sign on the beach advising people CAUTION CROCODILES (do not hurt the crocodiles they are delicate beautiful species) right next to a bunch of little snack-sized kids playing in the water.

But…"
Paul W. on Zeke's Roadhouse
"This is a great place to grab a beer or 3, sit at a table with friends, chat, relax and people watch. I really enjoy this place and end up here quite often. I know of only 2 places on Lincoln Road where you can get beers for $3 each, and the other place has an extremely limited selection compared…"

Best places to stop while boating.
"Here's where I like to stop and have a drink and some food or just a good time while yachting."
