I am looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst with strong SOX 404 experience to work for my client, a large public company in the food and beverage industry. Position is based out of their corporate office in Coral Gables. Salary range $60k - $65k. Senior Financial Analyst (SOX)
Coral Gables, Florida

Job Description:

Liaison between Accounting, Internal Audit and External Auditors that will ensure all SOX documentation for the North American (N.A.) Region is complete and work to resolve all issues to ensure that the N.A. Region successfully meets SOX requirements on a yearly basis.

Accountabilities:

• On a quarterly basis complete system access reviews for the N.A. Region.
• Update narratives and coordinate walkthroughs of the significant processes for the N.A. Region.
• Coordinate resolution of issues or completions of documentation with various departments or locations such as IT, AR Collections, Accounting, and Dallas DC.
• Maintain the N.A Region documentation in SO Comply (SOX software) and communicate progress to Controller, Internal Audit and SEC Monitoring & Compliance Manager on a periodic basis.
• Assist Controller in coordinating testing and walkthroughs performed by Internal Audit or External Auditors.
• Work with Controller in resolving issues that arise from Internal Audit or External Auditor testing to ensure N.A. Region successfully passes SOX for YE 2007
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting position involving analytical responsibilities.
• Prior work in the SOX area.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task
• Good communication skills.
  

Preferred but not Essential:

• 2-3 years of public accounting audit experience or other audit experience.
  
• CPA license
