New Years Eve Spiegelworld

World Class Bash
RainDance Miami at Spiegelworld in the Salon Perdu Spiegeltent

Global RainDance, the New York City based social network whose parties and events raise money for people in need, is bringing its booty-shaking brand of social responsibility to Miami Beach for a one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve event at the historic Salon Perdu Spiegeltent.

Global RainDance will host at Spiegelworld, presented by the The Raleigh Hotel, a series of dance parties over a nine-week period in Miami Beach at the extravagant Spiegeltent. The piece de resistance of the tent’s Miami Beach engagement will be on New Year’s Eve when Paris born DJ Sid ‘L Vaga will spin Afro-Brazilian house music along side aerialists, live percussionists and burlesque dancers for revelers who secure the limited tickets, which are on sale now for only $80 at www.globalraindance.org.

“We’re creating a dynamic online community to mobilize the hip urban dwellers,” explains Roland Peralta, founder of Global RainDance. “Leveraging the power-to-connect, RainDance Miami brings together the vibrant international and tuned-in professionals who are hip to global issues and local happenings.”

The Spiegeltent’s romantic gilt design creates a mood of 1920’s glamour and decadence wherever it calls home. The first Spiegeltent was built in the early 1900’s in Belgium and for fifty years was a staple for dancing and live entertainment across Europe. Since the 1970’s Spiegeltents have been traveling the world, providing a sexy alternative to the typical nightclub. Spiegelworld recently spent the summer at New York’s Pier 17 Fulton Fish Market where the adult cabaret Absinthe delighted audiences and where RainDanceNYC presented more than 50 of the best underground house music DJ’s under the Brooklyn Bridge.

Spiegelworld will be located at Collins Park in South Beach, 21st St and Collins Ave, from December 20 through February 17. But December 31st will be the highlight of the Speigelworld experience with Peralta promising “a deep, sexy, soulful, uplifting, high energy and captivating vibe for the more sophisticated world traveler and soulful local in dire need of a change of scenery!” Expect tickets to sell out. Venue capacity is estimated at 1,500 guests.
