Algonquin Dinner Club is a group of young professionals in Miami that get together for dinner at a new restaurant each week. The original Algonquin Roundtable consisted of some of New York's greatest literary lights of the post-W.W. I era: Writer Dorothy Parker and Robert Benchley; The New Yorker founder Harold Ross; columnists Franklin Pierce Adams and Heywood Broun, and Broun's wife Ruth Hale; critic Alexander Woollcott; comedian Harpo Marx; and playwrights George S. Kaufman, Marc Connelly, Edna Ferber and Robert Sherwood.
